Awesome product. Wait for Christams or Thanks giving deals. I got this TV and Sony BDP 550 for $1800 during 08 Christmas at Amazon. Also check xbr 9. Usually 46″ and higher have better specifications than smaller size models. Use Amazon Bravia comparison chart for further analysis.

Great picture however it has gone to pot after 17 months.
No help from Sony. I did not purchase the extended warranty. I thought SONY would be a reliable product. WRONG
Never again. The tv has a severe ghost image when turned on and it is getting worse week by week.
