Customer Review: A Waste of Money
I bought this in hopes it would basically replace my camcorder and picture camera as it advertises. One positive is in absolute bright light it has an ok picture. The rest of the time it is not worth the effort. It is light in the handle and heavy at the top. It advertises that is has leather on it. It is not on the handle, so it is very slippery in your hands. Pushing the record button is awkward. The camera does not have any balance. The pistol grip is a good idea, but pushing the record trigger you have to loosen your grip and stretch to get it to record, thus causing the camera to jerk around. The other problem is downloading, non-existant software and a mpeg-4 codec which make it imposible to edit with out buying conversion software.
I could go on! Bottomline, Save your money. Good idea possibly in the future with upgrades. I forgot sound is horrible. If you notice there is no advertising about sound. It is be cause it is horrible. Well, once again. Save your money, I bought a digital camera buy “C” and I could not be happier. Hope this helps.
